Communication with travel nurses and CNO is phenomenal and very helpful.
Cons
Short Staff Lazy nurses don’t want to help the aides There was a merger and some of the assignments were unfair. Some staff felt entitled due to the company buyout.

Max patient load is 5:1 for medsurg type patients. Which is less than on other hospitals in the area. Room for advancement.

Charting is redundant. It’s EPIC, but a lot of repetitive stuff.

All Select Medical Corporation facilities
Acuity was 4:1, Select bought them out and they push 5 : 1 which is very heavy because of they type of pts they take. They went from paper to a very old version of Epic which makes charting take twice as long. Select buying out Acuity was a shame. It used to be a great place to work. There were a lot of people who left because they felt their license was not safe.
