 American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT credentials and experience in mammography to join a busy imaging team.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Work in a dedicated mammography unit with potential coverage for DEXA scans</li><li>No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts required</li><li>4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM</li><li>Remote diagnostic studies are interpreted offsite</li><li>Uses PACS for image storage and reporting</li><li>Operate mammography and related imaging equipment and perform patient imaging procedures</li><li>Prepare and position patients, select technical parameters, and ensure patient education about the procedure</li><li>Evaluate and submit high-quality images and accurate patient data to PACS</li><li>Adhere to radiation safety protocols and standard precautions using personal protective equipment</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all assigned areas</li><li>Critical thinking and the ability to work independently in a busy environment are essential</li><li>Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rule</li><li>COVID-19 vaccination is not required</li></ul>
 
 <h2>Requirements</h2>
 <ul><li>Minimum 1 year of mammography experience</li><li>Current BLS from AHA or American Red Cross required within 30 days of start</li><li>Radiologic Technologist registration from ARRT (R) required</li><li>Completion of a federally approved 40-hour mammography training course within 90 days of start and 25 supervised studies as per Texas state requirements</li><li>Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification required</li><li>ARRT (M) Mammography certification preferred</li><li>Must provide a US Social Security Number and permanent US home address</li><li>License required if applicable</li></ul>
