Traveler friendly!! Located in a quiet, quaint town. Not a ton to do in Slidell but the area felt safe! Staff there were helpful and there was a great amount of teamwork on the cardiac floor on the night shift! Everyone I encountered was super helpful and kind! Patient population also wasn’t bad either. Would take another assignment here if the opportunity arose!

Great location if you want to be close to New Orleans without having to deal with the city, tents are cheaper too. The workflow is pretty continuous in the CT department. Staff is great and extremely nice, management is great. The only thing is pay is not as competitive as elsewhere.
