ICU is total care. No secretary, no techs, charge nurses take their own patients. Progressive care has 5:1 ratios for total care patients. No tube system so you have to run to lab and pharmacy all the time. Really good nurses in general, just not enough support.

It's not a bad place to work, but as a traveling nurse I'd expect management to let me know if my contract was being terminated prematurely.   The case load was down quite a bit so it didn't come as a huge surprise,  but they know I'm trying to make a living as well and not allowing me to prepare puts me out thousands of dollars.

You will get NO stipends, taxed to death on everything, NO help with housing, NO call back pay, and treated like trash.  The internal company is owned by upper management crooks. 
the whole place is poorly ran and very shady! 
They lie constantly and everything is the “travelers” faults.   Morale is HORRIBLE. Don’t expect to rely on your “recruiter” because you will never hear from her again after hired.   The orientation is the most BRUTAL thing ever.  And the process for onboarding at the occ Med (owned by them) will hold you up for everything that they can.  Pay is every two weeks and they try to send you home early every single day. 🏃‍♀️
