      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring an OH or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a 30-bed ICU serving MICU, SICU, and some neuro patients</li><li>Non-trauma ICU environment with stabilized traumas transferred out</li><li>Patient ratios typically range from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on staffing</li><li>Specialized procedures and equipment include arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, ports, vents, trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow oxygen</li><li>Drip titration for critical patients, including Heparin and other critical drips</li><li>12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required</li><li>Night shifts use telemedicine intensivist coverage and hospitalist for escalation</li><li>Support from patient care techs when census exceeds 15 patients</li><li>Epic EMR in use (Epic experience preferred)</li><li>Navy blue scrubs required</li><li>Responsible for patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes collaboratively</li><li>Manages critical care interventions including ventilator management, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and hemodynamic monitoring</li><li>Acts as a resource and liaison for patient care coordination between departments and family members</li><li>Expected to adapt to rapidly changing patient needs and use clinical judgement in urgent situations</li><li>Pass/fail EKG testing is required on the first day with study materials provided</li><li>First-time travelers are eligible for consideration</li></ul>

      <ul><li>Current OH or compact RN license required</li><li>Minimum of 2 years RN experience in ICU required</li><li>Certification in BLS and ACLS required</li><li>NIHSS certification required</li><li>Dysrhythmia/EKG exam must be passed within two attempts (study guides provided)</li><li>Experience with LVOs, EVDs, lumbar drains, Swans, IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred</li><li>Epic EMR experience preferred</li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred</li><li>Position will not consider local candidates residing within 50 miles</li></ul>

Position Summary

Responsible for providing and directing Physical Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication in assigned locations. Functions under a physicians order. 

Position Supervisory Responsibilities 

Supervises the following positions: Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides/Therapy Techs 

Position Qualifications 

Minimum Qualifications:

Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment required.

Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

A current, valid and active Driver’s License required.

Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

One (1) year of experience as a PT required.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Ability to project a professional image.

Previous Hospital experience preferred

Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.

Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
