<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Sep 22, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform CT studies and assist with CT-guided procedures on night shifts.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>CT Scan unit within an acute care hospital setting</li><li>Serves neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations</li><li>Performs CT examinations including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest studies</li><li>Utilizes GE imaging equipment and PACS for image transmission, archiving, and retrieval</li><li>Night shift schedule of 4x10 hours, Sunday-Wednesday 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>ARRT Radiography and ARRT CT certification required</li><li>CRT certification required</li><li>IV/Venipuncture certification required</li><li>BLS certification required upon hire</li><li>Radiology Fluoroscopy certification required within 180 days of hire (license required if applicable)</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience required, preferably in an acute care facility</li><li>Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or successful graduation from a Joint Commission approved School of Radiologic Technology</li><li>Proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and technical imaging factors</li><li>Experience with multiple computerized systems and PACS</li><li>Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE</li><li>Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Coordinates and produces quality CT studies according to physician orders and established protocols</li><li>Performs venipuncture and medication administration with a focus on patient safety</li><li>Accurately documents care and charge capture in the electronic health record</li><li>Assesses and educates patients prior to CT exams to ensure safety and cooperation</li><li>Works with high-risk and critically ill patients across all age groups</li><li>First-time travelers will not be considered for this role</li><li>Returning staff/travelers must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible</li><li>Accepts local candidates at the local rate</li><li>50-mile radius rule applies</li><li>Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract</li></ul>
