      <p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a PA or compact RN license and Epic experience for a diverse surgical environment.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital</li><li>Work involves 10-hour day shifts with start times of 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM or 8:45 AM to 7:15 PM</li><li>Call required every 6 to 7 weeks for weekends (Friday 7 PM to Sunday 7 PM) and one weeknight per week (7 PM to 7 AM)</li><li>Weekend and holiday coverage may be needed</li><li>Unit consists of 11 operating suites, including 2 dedicated cardiovascular ORs and an additional specialized procedure suite</li><li>Surgical cases include gynecology, urogynecology, oncology, podiatry, orthopedics, breast, plastics, general, urology, robotics, endoscopy, cardiothoracic, and vascular surgery</li><li>Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric</li><li>Care may include patients with COVID-19</li><li>Facility is tobacco and fragrance free</li><li>Maximum 7 days of requested time off</li><li>Manager interview and clinical screening required for consideration</li></ul>

<p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p>

<p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p>
<p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br />
• Schedule requires 3x12 hour shifts per week<br />
• Weekend coverage every other weekend (EOW) as needed<br />
• Holiday coverage as needed<br />
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends<br />
• Will float to all Med Surg floors and potentially rehab unit<br />
• May float to floors that take stroke patients and peritoneal dialysis patients<br />
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required<br />
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)<br />
• EPIC charting system experience required<br />
• Previous charge experience preferred<br />
• Community hospital experience preferred<br />
• Travel experience preferred<br />
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract<br />
• 8-hour orientation required<br />
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)<br />
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility<br />
• Care for adult and geriatric patients<br />
• Provide care for patients with CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedic conditions, COPD, sepsis, and end of life care<br />
• Occasional care for stable open heart surgery patients transferred from ICU (typically day 4-5 post-op)<br />
• Work with special equipment including Artisight virtual nurses and virtual sitters<br />
• Access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams</p>
