RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:
• Work night shift 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 
• Weekend coverage required (likely every other weekend) 
• Patient ratios: 6 patients during nights, 5 during days and weekends 
• Float to all medical surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation unit 
• Care for adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses including CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedics, COPD, and sepsis 
• Handle occasional stable open heart surgery patients transferred from ICU (typically day 4-5 post-op) 
• Work with specialized equipment including Artisight virtual nurses and virtual sitters 
• Minimum 2 years of experience required 
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS 
• EPIC charting system experience required 
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility 
• One day of orientation provided before taking full assignments 
• Must complete EKG exam within 72 hours of signing contract 
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete) 
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
