Post Partum

My first assignment as a travel nurse. I hated it but I pushed through but wouldn’t ever want to work there again.

The environment is very clicky. The director of pediatrics will tell you that she is will support you and is big on safety of nurses when it comes to patient ratios. But I have been the charge nurse multiple times where I have to take a full team of patients and some of the are critical patients and then not available to help my fellow nurses when they need help. The work environment is lacking and lately it has made individuals question the safety of their nursing license.
