Good place for a travel assignment. Parking is expensive but the subway and buses have stops at the hospital. Culture is great and their Boston accents kept me amused all the time.

Patient care orders are seldom accurate. Hopefully you have experience to know what ought to be done and what level of care to provide. And/or you ask a ton of questions to cover yourself and champion for the patient(s). Critical care patients are all complex and this is a teaching hospital- therefore, residents.

Job Details:
• 36 hours per week with schedules provided at least one month in advance 
• Rotating schedule including weekends and day shifts with potential second shifts 
• 13-week travel assignment with ASAP start only 
• Work exclusively with Siemens CT scan equipment 
• Must have strong Siemens experience and be well versed in Siemens scanners 
• Experience required with Siemens syngo.via, Force, Definition 64 slice, and AS20 with interventional package 
• Must be able to perform post processing 
• Strong IV start skills preferred 
• Experience with Level 1 trauma and acute stroke high acuity patients required 
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT) - department of health requirement, BLS Certification 
• Charting system: Cerner 
• Level I trauma facility setting 
• Acute care setting

 Cat Scan Technologists are generally certified radiologic technologists. They operate the CT equipment to create diagnostic images of the interior parts of the human body. They prepare the patient for the diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient accurately, and as instructed by the physician. The Cat Scan Tech is also responsible for maintaining the Cat Scan equipment. They help the physician in reading the images of the patients and in analysing the patient's condition. Most travel Cat Scan Tech positions are on hospital premises.
