Poor management
Management was east to work with to your face but very disrespectful when the doors closed. Insulted new travelers and made the environment terrible to work in. When I chose not to accept another contract, the manager reported to the other union hospitals I was difficult to work with just because I didn’t want to extend in their toxic environment.

Survival Nursing
Worst place I ever worked. Saw manager for MAYBE 5 minutes my whole contract. They should classify this as survival nursing. 1:6 ratio, sometimes only 1 tech for 40 patients. It was not uncommon to get 3 admissions a shift…and there was ALWAYS an admission waiting for you at shift change. Also not uncommon to be assigned 3 confused patients climbing out of bed with 3 full on droplet isolation patients. Felt like my nursing license was in jeopardy every shift.
