      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg unit night shift position, requiring at least one year of recent acute care experience and a current IN or compact RN license.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a 32-bed Med/Surg (remote telemetry) unit within an acute care hospital setting</li><li>Patient population includes stable vent patients, Bipap, acute or chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, and medical/surgical cases</li><li>Patients may receive telemetry if ordered, monitored 24/7</li><li>Administer IV drips such as dopamine (fixed rate, no titration) and heparin</li><li>Primary care teams include internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist overflow</li><li>Night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week</li><li>No on-call responsibilities</li><li>Utilizes Cerner for electronic medical records</li><li>Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the hospital; candidates within 50-100 miles accepted at a reduced rate</li><li>Responsible for managing patients on remote telemetry, IV drips, and supporting a diverse range of medical/surgical diagnoses</li><li>Travel experience not required for consideration</li><li>No orientation hours are provided for this assignment</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active IN or compact RN license required</li><li>Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in a hospital setting</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li><li>Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred</li></ul>
