Cafeteria is great but is a long walk, recommend bringing your own food

I thought the place was great to work, there were some things I saw and didn’t like. I felt that they were racist against white people, the favoritism was usually with permanent staff or travelers that were there longer and also black, I also felt that they didn’t follow OSHA with biohazard waste, and they let one of the doctors get away with being very rude to staff. For the most part it was a good experience, made friends and learned new things.

Very disorganized. Things always seemed to be breaking down. The therapeutic room wasn’t even on the same floor as the rest of the endo unit. The manager seemed to be more interested in the violation of dress code of the nurse (a type of jacket that was purchased at the hospital gift shop) instead of the workflow of the unit. 
The endoscopy units primary focus was for the nurse to parent the doctors/residents to make sure that they do their job. It is not the nurse’s responsibility to make sure that doctors are doing their responsibilities. 
This place was just not a good fit for me.
