      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a MD or compact RN license and strong cardiac Cath Lab background.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is in a hospital Cath Lab setting</li><li>Day shifts consist of four 10-hour shifts (7:00-17:30) with one late shift per week (10:00-20:30)</li><li>Handles an average daily census of 7-14 cases with 2 Cath Lab rooms</li><li>Patient population includes Acute Coronary Syndrome, CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, AFIB, and Bradycardia</li><li>Procedures performed include percutaneous coronary intervention, pacemaker insertion, loop monitors, TEE, and cardioversions</li><li>Uses specialized equipment such as balloon pumps and IVUS</li><li>On-call shifts are required with a 30-minute arrival time, including evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage</li><li>Weekend and holiday shifts are scheduled as needed</li><li>May float to pre-op/PACU within the same unit or specialty as needed</li><li>Responsible for assisting with a variety of interventional cardiac procedures</li><li>Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes when on call</li><li>Team members are required to provide weekend and holiday shift coverage as scheduled</li><li>Floating to related pre-op and PACU areas within the unit may be required</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active MD or compact RN license required</li><li>BLS and ACLS certifications required</li><li>CPI certification required (can be obtained during orientation)</li><li>NIHSS certification is preferred</li><li>Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a cardiac Cath Lab required</li><li>Will consider first-time travelers with a proven 3-year cardiac Cath Lab background</li></ul>
