As staff, working in MS Tele was a good experience in terms of patient population we provide care to and the teamwork with nursing, medical and ancillary services. Management…could be better. After job offer, onboarding will take up to 90 days…why applicants will often find jobs elsewhere. Compensation/ salary is often lower than other nursing jobs in the area. As traveler, staffing agencies have no control on how long VA takes to finish credentialing and security clearance . It will go as fast a government employees will work…. Slow AF, 2-3 months. Attempted travel contract through AB staffing. And they promised 4-5 weeks from job offer to clear credentialing and security….i didn’t happen. CPRS is horrid, outdated. Pt ratios are California standards. Breaks…depends on staffing and workload. Compensation for missed breaks don’t happen often.
