The job itself is very enjoyable, however if you are in recovery - you’re on your own! It has the potential to be a wonderful place to work! However, it’s more important to them to do next week’s patient chart audits than to help the nurses in recovery. It’s most unfortunate, but that is the thought process they have.

This hospital was so so great when I first started, everyone is so welcoming of traveler, surgeons are all so kind. In the last few months we had a new manager hired and an overhaul of management in general. The new operations manager is not easy to deal with, does not like travellers and a lot of staff and travellers have left because of her. My pay has also been it significantly since the spring (unrelated to the manager) but they are always good at extending my contract
