<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Sep 14, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of specialty experience and RDCS certification for a hospital-based cardiac imaging role.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work across adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings, including ICU and Emergency Department</li><li>Perform fetal echocardiography and maternal fetal medicine studies</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:7</li><li>Utilizes Epic charting system and GE equipment with PACS</li><li>Day shift schedule of 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM</li><li>Floating required within 5 hospitals (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL) and 6 outpatient sites based on staffing needs</li><li>Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required</li><li>No call requirements</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months</li><li>BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred</li><li>RDCS certification required</li><li>ARDMS or CCI credential accepted</li><li>Neonatal/pediatric experience required</li><li>Teaching hospital experience required</li><li>Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred</li><li>Epic charting system experience required</li><li>Skills required include Adult Echo, 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Portable Studies, RVIT, RVOT, Routine studies, and TEE</li><li>Pharmacologic Stress Echo and Treadmill Stress Echo skills preferred</li><li>Proficiency in calculations including Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area, and Simpson's Rule preferred</li><li>Ability to obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG and perform procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings</li><li>Knowledge of Isolation Precautions/PPE required</li><li>Must be able to complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing</li><li>Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit</li><li>License required if applicable</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies across adult and pediatric populations, including fetal cardiac imaging for congenital conditions such as Tetralogy of Fallot, Hypoplastic Left/Right Heart Syndrome, Ebstein's anomaly, and Ventricular Septal Defect</li><li>Conduct studies for conditions including Aortic Stenosis, Atrioventricular Septal Defect, Complete Heart Block, Congestive Heart Failure, and Transposition of the Great Arteries</li><li>Management or lead experience preferred</li><li>RTO must be submitted at time of application and no additional requests will be accepted after submission</li><li>No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment</li><li>Block scheduling not permitted</li><li>First-time travelers accepted</li><li>Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital are subject to a reduced local rate</li><li>COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions</li></ul>
