<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Nov 2, 2026</li><li>Length: 26 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring prior charge experience and NC or compact RN licensure.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Med/Surg Tele unit with a primarily Med/Surg patient population</li><li>1:6 patient ratios</li><li>Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7p-730a</li><li>Every other weekend and holiday rotation required</li><li>Required to work Charge RN shifts as needed</li><li>Floating required as needed, including across all facilities within the health system</li><li>26-week assignment length only, no option for 13 weeks</li><li>Utilizes EPIC EMR</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active NC or compact RN license required</li><li>BLS certification required</li><li>NIHSS certification preferred</li><li>Minimum 2 years of RN experience required</li><li>Previous Charge RN experience required</li><li>EPIC EMR experience required</li><li>Experience with blood product administration, peripheral line care, and starting IVs</li><li>Experience administering Heparin, Insulin, and PCA</li><li>Experience with nasal cannula and isolation precautions/PPE</li><li>Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response</li><li>Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)</li><li>Travel RN experience required</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide direct patient care including IV therapy, wound care, and respiratory management as needed</li><li>Participate in Rapid Response/Code team activations</li><li>Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, with no local rate option</li><li>RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO accepted</li></ul>
