<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jun 15, 2026</li><li>Length: 12 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy Lab position in California, requiring a minimum of 2 years of GI nursing experience and a BSN.<h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Hospital-based GI Lab setting</li><li>Procedures include EGD, EUS, Colonoscopy, and ERCP</li><li>Must be able to recover patients/PACU-capable</li><li>Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00–15:30)</li><li>At least 2 weekend call shifts required</li><li>On-call required: 1–2 weekday call shifts with a 30-minute response time</li><li>Weekend on-call requirement of 2–3 days with a 30-minute response time</li><li>Floating within scope or to like units required per facility needs</li><li>Charting via Epic EMR</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active California RN license required</li><li>BSN required</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy RN experience in a hospital setting</li><li>PACU/recovery experience required</li><li>Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes of the facility</li><li>At least one prior travel nursing assignment required — first-time travelers will not be considered</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Performs and assists with advanced GI procedures including EGD, EUS, colonoscopy, and ERCP</li><li>Responsible for patient recovery/PACU duties in addition to procedural support</li><li>Scrubs are provided by the facility</li></ul>
