Tracks data regarding intakes and referral sources. Provides guidelines and instruction to staff regarding program promotion, intake and referral processes. Communicates information about patient referred to rehab unit to appropriate physician. Accepts additional responsibilities and organizes scheduled and unscheduled time. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience and Education Graduate of NLN approved nursing program. Three (3) years experience in medical intake and/or care coordination. Experience in relationship development and managed care. **Current Texas (or BNE Compact State) license. and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).** Compliance with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate enforced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) is a requirement for this position.
