<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jun 22, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring CO or compact RN licensure, robotic surgery experience, and call availability including weekday and weekend on-call shifts.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Hospital-based Operating Room (Surgery) setting</li><li>Handles a broad surgical caseload including orthopedics (totals, no spine), ophthalmology, GYN, urology, general surgery (appendectomy, lap chole, bowel, hernia), C-sections, ENT (tonsils), colonoscopy, and EGDs</li><li>Robotic surgery experience required, specifically with the Da Vinci and Mako robotic systems</li><li>Covers preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of care</li><li>Shifts are 10 hours, generally 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM</li><li>Schedule is 4 shifts per week</li><li>Call required one day per week (5:00 PM–6:00 AM) and approximately one weekend per month (24-hour call)</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand</li><li>Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS</li><li>Operating room nursing experience required, including preop, intraop, and postop care</li><li>Experience with robotic surgery platforms (Da Vinci and Mako) required</li><li>Two supervisory references (Supervisor, Manager, or Director) preferred for consideration</li><li>Completed skills checklist required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provides perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases</li><li>On-call responsibilities include one weekday call shift per week (5:00 PM–6:00 AM) and approximately one 24-hour weekend call shift per month</li></ul>
