      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT certification and the ability to perform MRI procedures for a variable day shift schedule.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is full-time at 36 hours per week</li><li>Work setting is a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department</li><li>Schedule includes three 13-hour day shifts on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm</li><li>Variable shifts may occasionally be required depending on census</li><li>Patient population includes geriatric, pediatric, and general adult patients</li><li>Duties include performing MRI procedures, screening for contraindications, and operating related equipment</li><li>Must communicate effectively and develop positive working relationships with patients, physicians, and team members</li><li>Responsible for patient and staff safety, including enforcing MRI safety protocols and educating patients</li><li>Expected to maintain equipment, monitor inventory, and sustain a clean and orderly environment</li><li>Will be required to cover holiday call as needed</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Minimum of 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist</li><li>Active ARRT(RT) and ARRT(MRI) certifications required</li><li>Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 4 months of hire</li><li>Associates degree or completion of a certificate-based MRI program required</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Must be influenza vaccinated as required by the State of Maine, or provide approved medical exemption</li></ul>
