We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team in Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine. This position involves providing care for a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from stroke, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries (SCI), trauma, orthopedic issues, oncology treatments, pediatric cases, solid organ transplants, heart failure, and other medically complex conditions.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in acute rehabilitation settings.
• Provide clinical and emotional support to patients and their families as they work towards regaining independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with team members.

Work Schedule

This position requires 36 hours per week, with day, evening, and night shifts available. Shifts may be 8 or 12 hours long, and the role includes working on holidays and weekends as per unit policy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg experience.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Telemetry experience is necessary.
• Recent pediatric experience is preferred.
