Description
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. This position is crucial for providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.
Shift Requirements
- 7 PM to 7:30 AM
- Scheduled for 36 hours per week with a guarantee of 24 hours
- Willingness to float to similar units or nearby locations as necessary
Weekend and On Call Requirements
Weekend and on-call requirements will be determined by the facility and communicated as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care processes
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely
Qualifications
- A minimum of 24 months of recent ICU experience
- Current life support certifications from recognized organizations (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- Active nursing license to practice with no disciplinary actions
- Willingness to provide a driver’s license for residency verification
- Travel nursing experience is highly preferred
Additional Requirements
- Complete a skills checklist relevant to ICU nursing within the past 12 months
- Maintain active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- No time off requests may exceed 7 days, and no requests during the first week of assignment
Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments will facilitate a faster offer. Candidates must be ready to commence work within one week of the specified start date.
