Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate should be adaptable and willing to float to similar units as required. This position offers a schedule of 36 hours, with 24 hours guaranteed, and includes opportunities to work night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience.
• Active and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Current AHA, ARC, or ASHI certifications in adult life support (ACLS and BLS).
• Ability to start on the listed start date or within one week of the start date.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as determined by facility needs.
• Travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
