Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU, working with pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care respiratory therapy and demonstrate proficiency in high-level care environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Utilize advanced respiratory techniques and modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Float as needed to various locations, including specialized children's rehab and NICUs within the region.
• Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in compliance with facility standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active RRT license in Ohio.
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatrics, specifically in NICU, PICU, and high-level care environments.
• Certification in BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS is required.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform in high-stress situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and patient interaction.

Work Schedule

This position offers flexible scheduling options, including 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts, day hours from 07:00 to 19:30.

Additional Requirements

Travelers will need to complete two fingerprinting processes: one onsite prior to starting and the second through the agency.

All work history, including previous positions held within the region, must be included in the application profile. All relevant certifications must be provided at the time of submission.
