Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the health status of mothers and newborns throughout the labor process.
- Provide support and education to expectant mothers and their families regarding the birthing process.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Respond swiftly to any complications or emergencies during labor and delivery.
- Provide postpartum care and guidance to new mothers.
Qualifications
- Current and valid nursing license as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
- Strong assessment and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Schedule
This position offers a 4x12-hour shift schedule, working days from 07:00 to 19:00. A consideration for 36 hours per week is available.
