Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse position located in Dallas, TX. This high-risk obstetrical role involves providing comprehensive care for high acuity patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The assignment emphasizes circulating in cesarean sections, monitoring high-risk obstetric patients, and collaborating within a specialized team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, from 09/22/2026 to 11/03/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery care, certifications in BLS, ACLS, Advanced Women's Health (AWHONN) fetal monitoring, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), experience working in high-risk obstetrical units, circulating in cesarean sections, and recovering high acuity obstetric patients.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and high-risk obstetrics staffing ratios, ability to float within obstetric units as needed, and strong knowledge of Meditech and CPNS documentation systems.
  • Additional Information: The unit operates on a high acuity basis with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1, with specific certifications required for high-risk obstetrics. Dress code obligations include maintaining neat, clean attire, and adherence to policies on artificial nails, hairstyles, tattoos, and piercings.
