Summary
Join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in Jersey City, NJ, at a Level 2 Trauma Center. This position offers a unique opportunity for registered nurses with operating room experience to advance their careers while working in a state-of-the-art facility. WCS Healthcare Partners is looking for dedicated and skilled nurses to join our team on a 13-week contract. Scrubs are provided, and first-time travelers are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures.
- Handle a diverse patient mix across various specialties, excluding open heart surgeries.
- Participate in trauma-related cases and multiple service lines.
- Set up equipment and review cases for the next day.
- Provide weekend coverage and be on call twice per schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR experience.
- Experience in robotic, ENT, ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgeries.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Active NJ or Compact license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required at the time of submission.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
