Summary
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room in Boston, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with rotational day and night shifts, including weekends and on-call duties. Ideal candidates will have Level I trauma experience and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Operating Room.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care and education.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations in the OR.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
- Level I trauma experience is required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Ability to work 4x10 or 4x12 day/night rotational shifts, including weekends and on-call.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
