Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Oncology Chemotherapy Treatment position requiring an active MA RN license and chemotherapy certification.
Details
- Ambulatory setting in a Hematology/Oncology treatment area
- Provides chemotherapy treatment to adult patients
- Monday through Friday schedule with no holidays or weekends required
- 8-hour day shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- No floating required
- No charge nurse responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration
- Chemotherapy certification required
- Minimum 2 years of oncology experience required
- Ambulatory setting experience and chemo administration experience required
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions only)
- COVID vaccine plus booster required (medical exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- Provide chemotherapy administration and treatment to adult oncology patients in an ambulatory treatment area
- Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this position
- Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6-month break before returning
- All RTO requests must be presented at the time of consideration
- Interview availability dates and times must be provided at the time of consideration
