Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, utilizing telemetry for accurate cardiac rhythm assessment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations, responding to emergency situations promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current NY State RN License or proof of application for the license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Ability to independently interpret and manage telemetry strips and cardiac rhythms.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
