Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and patient assessments.
• Coordinate patient care with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with prescription refills according to established protocols.
• Utilize standing orders in accordance with organizational policies.
• Communicate with pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare partners.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and health promotion.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records.
• Support onboarding and clinical training by serving as a preceptor when needed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education programs.

Requirements

Essential Job Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum Work-Related Experience: 1-2 years of experience in acute care setting
• Minimum Requirement for Licensure/ Certification/Registration: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Current CPR/BLS Certification required
