Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, ensuring patient safety and adherence to established protocols.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions during procedures, including End-Tidal CO2 Monitoring and Activated Clotting Time (ACT).
  • Administer medications such as antiarrhythmics and antihypertensives, and manage procedural sedation.
  • Assist in various cardiac procedures including angioplasty, cardiac ablation, and pacemaker insertion.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath or EP Lab setting.
  • Must possess a permanent MA nursing license.
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
  • Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
