Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum and antepartum patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and their newborns.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on postnatal care and newborn health.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in a postpartum or antepartum setting.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
