Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum and antepartum patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and their newborns.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on postnatal care and newborn health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in a postpartum or antepartum setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
