Description
WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract position in a renowned hospital located in the vibrant city of Atlanta, GA. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading clinical team in a dynamic and challenging acute care environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative expectations.
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
- Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient-care equipment; interpret and document electronic data.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Active State RN License.
- Minimum 2 years of acute Med/Surg experience.
- BLS & ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Strong communication, assessment, and customer-service skills.
