Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN with at least 2 years of PICU or Pediatric CICU experience and an active GA or compact license for a float position across multiple ICU units.
Details
- Pediatric float ICU position requiring flexibility across multiple units
- Float coverage required between two campuses
- Floats to all ICU areas including PICU, NICU, TDICU, CICU, as well as general care and specialty areas as needed
- Day shift schedule with every other weekend required
- Patient ratio of 2-3:1
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum 2 years of PICU or Pediatric CICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a drug screen prior to starting
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric ICU patients across multiple critical care units
- Any missed shifts must be made up
- Facility is nicotine-free
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions permitted
