Description

Join WCS Healthcare Partners in Worcester, MA, where you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will play a vital role in the recovery and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Utilize Epic charting system for accurate documentation of patient care.
  • Float to Extended Care Unit as needed.
  • Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection prevention protocols.

Requirements

  • Permanent MA RN License.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • Experience with medical ICU patients and managing a patient ratio of 2:1.
  • Preferred experience in community hospitals and with Epic charting system.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and every other weekend/holiday.
  • Strong skills in managing ventilated patients, central line care, and interpreting arterial blood gases.
