Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage and interpret dysrhythmias and provide care for ventilated patients.
- Perform triage and manage Level I Trauma cases.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- Permanent MA nursing license in hand.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
- Strong skills in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Preferred experience with psych/behavioral health in an ED setting.
- Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination not required.
