Join our dedicated team at WCS Healthcare Partners in Utica, NY, where you'll have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit. This position is ideal for those looking to make a significant impact in the lives of patients recovering from complex cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU).
Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as cardiovascular surgery recovery, cardiogenic shock, and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in cardiovascular critical care.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting, specifically with fresh heart cases.
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
Proven travel experience in a similar role is required.
Proficiency in using EPIC electronic health record system.
