Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in emergency nursing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department.
- Current Massachusetts RN license in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably EPIC.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
