Description
Join our team at WCS Healthcare Partners as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room Unit. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN to provide exceptional care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This opportunity is located in the vibrant community of Farmington, CT, offering a welcoming atmosphere and excellent quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Circulate during surgeries, including ortho, spine, and neuro procedures, independently.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including at least one weekend per month, and work rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain a sterile and efficient operating environment.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as an OR RN or equivalent combined OR experience.
- CIRCULATE experience is required; scrub experience is preferred.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
- NRP certification is required.
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed to ensure unit coverage.
