Join our team at WCS Healthcare Partners as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the vibrant city of New Haven, CT. Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care services to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a Level I Trauma Center.
  • Administer aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports.
  • Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation.
  • Manage ventilator settings and wean patients from mechanical ventilation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with trauma experience preferred.
  • National certifications required: RRT, ACLS, BLS, NRP.
  • Experience with Hamilton C6 ventilators is preferred.
  • Ability to work night shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:30 am, with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts per week.
  • Willingness to float between SRC and YSC campuses, which are located within a block of each other.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
