Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assist in surgical procedures across various specialties, including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Maintain a sterile and organized environment in the operating room.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the operating room specialty.
- Current AHA BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday, 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM.
- Willingness to work at least two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
- Strong expertise in handling a variety of surgical cases.
