Description
Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is looking for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit to start right away. Join a dynamic team in Utica, NY and make a meaningful impact in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to ICU patients, including those in Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma units.
- Operate and manage specialty equipment such as IABP, CRRT, and ICP monitoring devices.
- Float to various units as needed, excluding Behavioral and ER, to support patient care activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical records system, EPIC.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with 4-5 years preferred, including travel experience.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required; active NY RN license and all other active RN licenses verified through NURSYS.
- Proficiency in CRRT and Prismaflex, with heart experience highly preferred.
