Description
WCS is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for a local contract at a prestigious hospital in Buffalo, New York.
Job Function:
- Night Shift.
- 3x12.
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) based on acute care protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients’ cardiovascular status, responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments following BLS and ACLS guidelines.
- Document patient care activities accurately using the Epic electronic health records system.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Registered Nurse license for the state of New York.
- 2 years of acute Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system is required.
