Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Springfield, MA.


Job Function:  

  • Night Shift.
  • 3x12: 7pm-7:30am.
  • Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.  
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.  
  • Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.  
  • Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
  • Operate,  monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment interpret and document electronic data.  
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.  

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred Experience: 2 years in neuro, step‑down, or acute care.

  • Required Certifications: NIHSS (must be renewed yearly on this unit) and BLS.
