Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Springfield, MA.

Job Function:

Night Shift.
3x12: 7pm-7:30am.
Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.
Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment interpret and document electronic data.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

Job Requirements:

Preferred Experience: 2 years in neuro, step‑down, or acute care.
Required Certifications: NIHSS (must be renewed yearly on this unit) and BLS.
