WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced  Post‑Anesthesia Nurse (PACU  RN) for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Hyannis, MA

Job Function:  

• Day Shift and Night Shift.
• 11am-7:30pm/ 1pm-9:30pm.
• Provide individualized, emotionally supportive post‑operative nursing care  in accordance with  anesthesiologist and attending physician instructions.  
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, airway status, pain level, and level of consciousness per  PACU  protocols.  
• Assist  anesthesiologists and attending physicians during post‑operative recovery as needed.  
• Document all nursing activities thoroughly, including writing a discharge note once the anesthesiologist clears the patient for transfer.  
• Ensure  all  PACU  equipment and supplies are stocked, functional, and readily available.  
• Maintain a safe environment and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.  

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Active Massachusetts RN license – required.

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS – required (must maintain certifications).

• One year of recent experience (within the last 5 years) in ICU, CVICU, CVPA, ER, or SDC/PACU.

• BSN preferred.
