WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Critical Care Nurse  for  a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Salem, MA.

Job Responsibilities  

• Rotating Shift.
• 3x12.
• Evaluate and continuously  monitor  patient progress in the  ICU  
• Identify  sudden  or  subtle changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately  
• Provide  timely  updates to physicians, patients, and family members  
• Initiate treatments, administer medications, and monitor  dosing  
• Respond to medical  emergencies and activate  appropriate clinical  teams  
• Deliver comprehensive care throughout the patient’s  ICU  stay  
• Complete all required documentation prior  to patient transfer  
• Maintain  accurate  and detailed patient records  
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans  

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years continuous Adult ICU experience (required)

• Preferably 2+ years in a MICU at one facility

• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips

• Must be comfortable floating to Med/Surg (ratios 1:4–5)

• Active MA RN license

• AHA BLS

• AHA ACLS
