Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in MA. This role is ideal for an ICU‑trained RN with strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to manage complex, high‑acuity patients. 

Job Function:

• Rotating Shift.
• Evaluate and continuously  monitor  patient progress in the ICU.  
• Identify  sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.  
• Provide  timely  updates to physicians, patients, and family members.  
• Initiate treatments, administer medications, and monitor dosing.  
• Respond to medical emergencies and activate  appropriate clinical  teams.  
• Deliver comprehensive care throughout the patient’s ICU stay.  
• Complete all required documentation prior to patient transfer.  
• Maintain  accurate  and detailed patient records.  
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.  

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).  
• Current RN license for Massachusetts.  
• 2 years of SDU/PCU RN experience is required.  
• BLS, ACLS,certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
